Bailey Johnson is a junior at Gretna East and this will be her first year on the Wingspan staff, where she serves as a reporter.

Creativity has always come naturally to her; from writing to designing she expresses herself in any way that she can. She felt that joining journalism would be a new opportunity to express her passion for art.

As this will be her first year on the Wingspan staff, Johnson looks forward to graphic design and writing opinion pieces. With her imagination, she hopes to produce graphic designs to pair with the works of other writers on the staff. 

She’s taken a multitude of art classes to help her find her niche and develop her unique artistic style. As she starts off the year, she’s excited to look for new ways to express herself.
