According to Michal, there was an average, 10-15 students who visited the center each week. "Centers are a good way for students to get more one-on-one help from teachers. It can also be a good opportunity to get caught up on work," Michal said. "Even if a student's teacher is not available, there are other math teachers there who are ready to help, which is a huge benefit."

The Wingspan
With course registrations due before leaving for Thanksgiving break, it is important to look into what each class is by reviewing the course description and graduation requirements in the GPS Curriculum Handbook. Doing so can mean the difference between enjoying a class, being so bored you just don't care and it being too difficult, which can cause undo stress and potentially cause you to have lower grades. 

Take the class that’s ‘just right’
