Visiting the math center after school, senior Asher Siskow gets help from math teacher Lauren Michal on his homework assignment for his Calculus 1 class. According to Michal, there was an average, 10-15 students who visited the center each week. "Centers are a good way for students to get more one-on-one help from teachers. It can also be a good opportunity to get caught up on work," Michal said. "Even if a student's teacher is not available, there are other math teachers there who are ready to help, which is a huge benefit."

After making her 55th goal of the season and breaking the All-State record for most goals in a single season, Sonora DeFini jumps up with her arms in the air as she runs toward teammate Kendall Dobberstein during the NSAA Class B Girls Soccer State Championship game on May 13.
