According to Michal, there was an average, 10-15 students who visited the center each week. "Centers are a good way for students to get more one-on-one help from teachers. It can also be a good opportunity to get caught up on work," Michal said. "Even if a student's teacher is not available, there are other math teachers there who are ready to help, which is a huge benefit."

The Out of the Darkness Walk will take place on the Creighton Campus this Friday, April 5.

Before his open heart surgery in 2023, freshman Damon Dauel poses with the Nebraska Men's Basketball Team after being invited to come watch practice by Husker Head Coach Fred Hoiberg. Hoiberg had a special connection with Dauel as he himself had a heart condition which ended his NBA playing career in 2005.
