Sophomore Lexie Elliott is a second-year member of the Wingspan staff. She enjoys writing opinion pieces and connecting with others through writing. Last year, Lexie won several awards for her journalistic work, including qualifying for and placing in the State Journalism Championships in the Column Writing category. Determined to build on that success, she looks forward to deepening her skills and making an even stronger impact this year. Outside of Wingspan, Lexie remains active in athletics as a lacrosse player, and treasures time spent with her family and friends.
