Griffin’s State trip ends after one game

Girls battle each set, but come up short, lose 0-3

The Bennington Badgers, who were 28-7 going into their first game of the NSAA Class B State Volleyball Championships, won all three sets. However, the Griffins, who were 25-10 on the season prior to Wednesday, battled out each set.

The Badgers will take on the no. 1 seed, Norris, at 5 p.m. tomorrow in the semi-finals. The winner of that game will advance to the finals on Saturday at 5 p.m. and will play the winners of the Elkhorn North v. Skutt Catholic match which will be played tomorrow at 7 p.m.
